Dr. Karen Hawk, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of Resilience Counseling and Assessment, LLC, located in Gilbert, Arizona. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Minot State University, her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Argosy University in Phoenix, and her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, where she graduated with distinction in clinical evaluation competency.
Dr. Hawk provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, emphasizing family-centered and relationship-based care. Her areas of specialization include premarital counseling, co-parenting therapy, infertility and postpartum support, post-divorce adjustment, and trauma recovery.
Before founding her private practice, Dr. Hawk served as a trauma therapist at Exhale Counseling Services & PTSD Center in Chandler, Arizona. There, she provided trauma-focused treatment, facilitated group therapy, and delivered psychoeducation and sensorimotor psychotherapy to clients recovering from complex trauma and PTSD.
Her clinical expertise also extends to marriage and relationship issues, emotional wellness, addiction recovery, and personal growth.
